Can I book for Mimi’s Bakehouse Leith, 63 Shore, Edinburgh?

Yes, The Shore is a busy cafe, particularly at lunch times and weekends. We highly recommend that you book. You can make a booking from our website here.

Mimi’s Picnic Parlour, Old Town, 250 Canongate Edinburgh?

Mimi's Picnic Parlour is predominantly a takeaway shop so we do not take bookings. There are, however, four tables which can be enjoyed by walk-in customers.

What is the maximum booking size you can accommodate?
Between 9am and 4pm we can accommodate a maximum booking of up to 15 people. After 4pm we can accommodate up to 40 people and after 6pm we can accommodate up to 100 people.

Do you cater for birthday parties and celebrations?
Yes we do. If you are booking for 15 people or less please get in touch via our regular booking form here

Can we decorate the table?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring decorations such as balloons etc, however we ask that you don’t bring confetti or sprinkles and nothing that needs to be attached to the walls.

Do you require a deposit to book a table?
For tables of 10 or more we require a £5 per head deposit. This deposit is held against your chosen card but it is not actually charged unless there are changes to the size and time of your booking and you have not given us prior notice. Please note we require 48 hours notice for the cancellation of a large party. 

How long will we have on our table?
Our standard time is 1.5 hrs for tables of 5 or less and 2 hours for tables of 6 or more

What if I’m running late?
Give us a call on 0131 555 5908 as we release the table after 15 mins. 

Do you do private functions?
We do cater for private functions. To enquire please touch using our contact form and select 'private functions' here.

I have a voucher do you need the number before I visit?
We don’t need the voucher number, but you can let us know you have a voucher when you book and can present it to your waiter or waitress on arrival.
